Greetings from the International Office at Conestoga College!

Congratulations on beginning your journey as a student with Conestoga College in September 2018!Please read this information carefully and be sure to check the college website and your email regularly so you don’t miss anything!

New International Students Orientation

· Sat, Sep 8^th: Come learn the top tips for academic success in the Canadian classroom! Prizes, free food, valuable information about international student support services ahead!

Time: 12:30 – 4:00 PM

Location: North Gym, Recreation Centre, Doon Campus

Transportation:

12 PM: Shuttle buses will be waiting at Forest Glen Plaza, Fairview Park Mall and Cambridge Centre go to Orientation

4 PM: Shuttle buses will return to Forest Glen Plaza, Fairview Park Mall and Cambridge Centre.

Parking is available in designated lots for students attending Orientation

· Aug 27^th-Sept 7^th: Start Smart early arrival services - connect with the International Office, register for your classes, get your ONE Card (student identification), print your timetable, purchase a bus pass, open a bank account and more!

Location: Multi-Purpose Room in the Recreation Centre, Doon Campus

If you’re feeling nervous about coming to Conestoga – please don’t worry!

We have friendly staff and student volunteers to welcome you during Orientation.

Find someone who is wearing a t-shirt with the word “LOCAL” on it. They’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Once you’re here, you’re a LOCAL too!

Getting connected:

· To make your housing arrangements, please click here. Be sure to secure your own housing before you arrive, or book a hotel room for temporary accommodation. Need help? Contact Avni Adams at internationalstudenthousing@conestogac.on.ca

· Conestoga 101 - Make sure you complete Conestoga 101 on eConestoga to help set you up for a successful college experience. This online module introduces you to everything you need to know as a new Condor!
